Radicle Intervention

Radicle Intervention (2017-2019) is a public participatory art project nurtured by and realized in collaboration with the wild grasses of central New Mexico. Stencil images of the grasses, painted in a medium of local soil + native grass seed, are broadcast as temporary, pop-up murals to "grow" in urban and historically grassy areas. Through shared, multi-species efforts, the project proposes a gentle planetary revolution of coexistence. Human collaborators of all ages are invited to contribute to the emergent grassland.
